BEAR LAKE WATCH POSITION STATEMENT

Bear Lake Watch's position statement of 8/30/2006 pdf This statement was authored in responce to the initial opening of the CMP process.

The following statement was added in August 2008

"This is a supplement to the Bear Lake Watch position statement submitted on 8/29/06.

Issue: leases or easements for industrial purposes

There should be no extractive mineral or water uses in conjunction with the sovereign lands. Bear Lake Watch maintains such perpetual leases and easements are in conflict with the aesthetic and recreational nature of Bear Lake."
